The GFDD's DR Environmental Film Festival (DREFF) took its School Gardens Initiative to the students of the Los Prados Educational Center in Santo Domingo. Through this program, students learned first-hand about organic agricultural production and the properties of recycled organic material. The DREFF hopes that, in the future, organic gardening becomes a preferred recreational activity among students and a practice they can share with their families and friends.
