Organic Fertilizer and Vermiculture Course- FUNDSAZURZA
On Wednesday February 5, 2014, an Organic Fertilizer and Vermiculture Composting course was given at the Environmental Cleanup Foundation for Zurza, FUNDSAZURZA. Agronomy Engineer, José María Gundín, was the course instructor.
Fifteen participants were enriched by the very descriptive content that covered the following aspects: What is organic fertilizer and what are the various types? Why choose organic fertilizer and how is it made? Does it contain the nutrients plants need?
It was wonderful to share with this group of participants, who were full of infectious cheerfulness and profound interest in clearing up doubts and commenting on their experiences.
Since its inception the program has created a total of 26 vegetable gardens across the country in the provinces of Santo Domingo, Santiago, San Cristobal, Baní, Monte Plata, and Azua.
